Diggin' the Phase One bridge design... | Report this post to moderator

The final design used in the film just seemed way too 'busy'. I prefer the cleaner lines of the Phase One concept art.

I prefer Phase Two bridge. It is more TOS-like in my opinion.

I agree. The Phase One version is way too 70's mod for my tastes. It reminds me of some of the sketches that were created for the abandoned Star Trek: Phase II TV show in 1976.

The sixth one down looks a bit Gorn-like to me.

Those Kelvin Uniforms and a nice evolution from those on the Enterprise series.

The unused engineering concepts. Very reminiscent of the TMP design but on a much larger scale, which I guess would make sense if this was indeed a much larger Enterprise. I really hope they follow that aesthetic for the sequel.

The early cleaner bridge designs were also very interesting. Again, very reminiscent of the Phase II / TMP designs and superior - in my opinion - to what was finally used.

It happened a lot on the spin-offs too - a great looking alien would be in the background (while the bumpy foreheads were in foreground in that case).

Didn't see most of those aliens. They should try to use them again in future movies.
