With wins like that and the recent wins at the Scream '09 awards, I wouldn't be surprised if this film goes all the way to the People's Choice Awards or - dare I say it? (Dare! Dare!) - the Academy Awards.

All paid plants or block voting by Paramount.

    Obviously.

I mean the film has a rating of 95% positive on Rotten Tomatoes (Compared to Transformers 2's 19%).

It's one of the highest grossing movies of 2009.

It's one of the highest grossing movies of the "Star Trek" film series.

In addition to the previously mentioned critical reaction, it's liked/loved by most Star Trek fans, as well as the majority of the general, casual/non-Trekkie audience.

And now it's being nominated for, and winning, various awards, beyond just the special effects categories?

It's plain as day that this movie is terrible, and everything that's come about since it's release is the work of the Paramount Pictures' publicity department.

    ;-)

(Disclaimer: This, too, is a joke)

At first I was concerned with all these plants posting on our message boards. Now, they are voting and getting paid for it! What else should I know that my philodendron is doing?
