I'm looking forward to the new movie but... | Report this post to moderator

The new Enterprise is a bit goofy looking. The Kelvin is bit closer to what my expectations were.

Just my opinion.

There's just something 'not right' about the back bit/shuttle bay area. I thought we might have had a couple more shot from different angles by now?

Certainly doesn't beat the unveiling of the Enterprise-E! :)

How come TW doesn;t get sent all this cool stuff?

Also (sorry if I sound like an ungrateful bitch) the pix are awful quality - but still, good to see things up close.

I know! There was a time when TrekWeb was the top Trek site, then a couple years ago, this new site comes out of the blue and becomes the top Trek site overnight. What happened?

I have come to Trekweb for many, many years. There were other trek sites I visited regularly but they don't exist anymore.
So Trekweb is like the only constant over all these years.
I only learned of Trekmovie.com like 2 years ago or so. Apparently, they had been in operation for some time but that's when I learned of the site. But you've got to admit: They are doing a fine job.

Don't get me wrong: Trekweb is still a good site. Gustavo is doing a great job. But he's only one person, plus he's living in Brazil which means he can't go to all the US conventions or call in to the studio to confirm rumours or stuff like that.
Trekmovie.com seems to have a big "staff" with people all over the US and even in other countries.
Trekweb also used to have several regular contributors in the past, but it seems to be down to just Gustavo doing all the work (and Archangel as forum moderator). That could explain why Trekweb may not be as big as it used to be (however, without solid data like number of website hits there'a really no way of telling whether Trekweb has lost visitors).
