New Photos of Chris Pine as Kirk, Karl Urban as McCoy and Eric Bana as Nero

Here are a couple of new photos of the upcoming Star Trek movie, showing Karl Urban and Chris Pine as Leonard McCoy and James T. Kirk and Eric Bana as the Romulan bad guy Nero.

Update : a new photo of John Cho as Hikaru Sulu has also appeared online.

I prefer the TOS idea of Romulans looking just like Vulcans. Being indistinguishable means they can be infiltrators, etc. I thought the TNG idea of adding a ridge was a poor one. It was cool in TOS when you could say "are you a Vulcan I can trust, or a dirty Romulan spy?" You could also think that Vulcans were liable to go Romulan-evil at any moment because they were the same except for some mediation techniques. ;) I'm fine with going back to that and pretending the ridge never existed. They never really commented on it in TNG; they just added it.
