According to the Spanish site Peliculas.info, Star Trek movie director J.J. Abrams will present an exclusive screening of 25 minutes of footage of his upcoming Star Trek movie in Spain on the IMAX movie theater of Madrid on November 12th 7:00 pm local time.

The site also claims that Paramount Pictures Spain is the source of the info.

This information is preliminary, of course, and entirely rumor.

Stay tuned on TrekWeb for more info on this.

The original report can be found here.

It's return to prime time television can be attributed to a successful fan renewnal campaign last year. CHUCK is a one-hour, action-comedy series that follows Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, "Less Than Perfect") -- a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent. This upcoming season will include some special guest stars, including Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" who will play CIA agent Daniel Shaw in an episode, and the addition of SUBWAY restaurant as a major advertiser to the show. Chuck averaged a 4.0/6 rating last season, about eight percent better than the recently cancelled "Trauma". Ratings-challenged Heroes moves back an hour when Chuck returns on Monday nights. It doesn't make sense to me. After all the secrecy behind the uniforms and the ship, etc, why would JJ expose a quarter of the film to the general public a full six months before it came out? You know there will be some way for it to be leaked all over the planet.

Well, Mr. Abrams will also travel to the UK in November, so I guess we will have to wait and see if this rumor is indeed true. Anyway, I have tried to contact UIP and Paramount Spain for more info on this.
