First Cut of Star Trek Movie Screened at Paramount with Impressive Results

According to TrekMovie.com, director J.J. Abrams and his editors finished the first cut of the upcoming Star Trek movie and screened this first cut of the movie for Paramount boss Brad Grey and others executives late last week.

According to the site sources, the screening was a "hit" and the reaction was "far beyond expectations", leaving the studio executives "impressed" with the first cut of the movie.

"Star Trek will be lucky to make half of what Indy made."

The difference between the two films is that one of them actually has a chance of being a solid film that won't leave me feeling I wasted two hours and $21 for me and my wife to go see it.

The other is Indiana Jones.
