Nana Visitor on Battlestar Galactica and Deep Space Nine

Sy Fy Portal posted a new interview with Star Trek Deep Space Nine actress Nana Visitor, in which she talks about her recent role in Battlestar Galactica, Dark Angel, the potential actor's strike and more. Here are few excerpts of the article.

"It was real acting, like I hadn't done for a while, and [it had] real writing," Visitor told fans about Galactica while attending the recent Vulkon convention in Orlando, Fla. "I loved it. I was very impressed all the way around. I though it was a great show."

"I was on the set for maybe four or five days, or something like that, and it was a real rough set," she said. "You felt the world of 'Battlestar Galactica' being very rough, and every set was dark, and it was tough. It was a whole different atmosphere."

Especially compared to the last time Galactica producer Ronald D. Moore and Visitor worked together on Deep Space Nine.

"Our show had three huge soundstages that you walked in one door and you were in the world, and there were real doors," Visitor said. "It was like Disney World as opposed to Disneyland. There was no scale. It was what it looked like."

The full interview cen be found at Sy Fy Portal.

It's all from Saturday's SyFy Radio broadcast that can be found at www.BlogTalkRadio.com/SyFyRadio.

SyFy Radio will have George Takei tonight at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

Nov 23Chuck returns to NBC with a special two-hour show on Sunday, Jan 10, 2010, before returning to its regular time slot, Mondays at 8pm on the following night. It's return to prime time television can be attributed to a successful fan renewnal campaign last year. CHUCK is a one-hour, action-comedy series that follows Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, "Less Than Perfect") -- a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent. This upcoming season will include some special guest stars, including Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" who will play CIA agent Daniel Shaw in an episode, and the addition of SUBWAY restaurant as a major advertiser to the show. Chuck averaged a 4.0/6 rating last season, about eight percent better than the recently cancelled "Trauma". Ratings-challenged Heroes moves back an hour when Chuck returns on Monday nights. RE: Nana is the best argument to bring back DS9 | Report this post to moderator

Where did you hear that, Gustavo? I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just curious. I thought the DS9 relaunch novels took place pretty soon after the end of the series, which would make it about two years later right now. Am I wrong, or does Destiny occur way later?
