With all due respect, Chronic, that was not only a bit elitist, but self-defeating--if the fanboys stay away from Caprica, that decreases the series' chances of succeeding and staying on the air. I think it looks damn good, and I'm someone who embraced BSG from the time of the miniseries--but I also recognize that numbers and money ultimately are what talk in Hollywood. It makes no sense to hope that a sizable chunk of the viewership dislikes it before the pilot has even aired--that's just asking for cancellation. You may feel superior to most viewers, and that's certainly you're right--but if you want to keep the show on the air beyond the pilot, you'd be helping it more by hoping the masses embrace it, including those you're currently hoping will stay away.
