Features

By GustavoLeao / 14:38, 30 May 2008 / Star Trek: Nemesis

JoBlo.com posted new exclusive spy photos from the set of J.J. Abrams upcoming Star Trek movie.

According to the site "These are some pics from the set of Starfleet Academy. The location is California State University of Northridge and the school library is being used as a... well, school. This shows some nice costumes and art design. During filming, all the extras run over to the right side of the field, to the blue screen and point, as if something big crashes."

You can find the photos here.

Nov 23Chuck returns to NBC with a special two-hour show on Sunday, Jan 10, 2010, before returning to its regular time slot, Mondays at 8pm on the following night. It's return to prime time television can be attributed to a successful fan renewnal campaign last year. CHUCK is a one-hour, action-comedy series that follows Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, "Less Than Perfect") -- a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent. This upcoming season will include some special guest stars, including Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" who will play CIA agent Daniel Shaw in an episode, and the addition of SUBWAY restaurant as a major advertiser to the show. Chuck averaged a 4.0/6 rating last season, about eight percent better than the recently cancelled "Trauma". Ratings-challenged Heroes moves back an hour when Chuck returns on Monday nights. STAR TREK VOYAGER's Robert Duncan McNeill serves Chuck as a supervising producer and director.0

Pretty uninspiring.Everything has an off-the self look from a costume shop.[/eq]

As opposed to the TOS version just showing us a Grey redress of a Starfleet uniform?

[q]And why caps?![/eq]

Why not?

[q]Which brings me to a question. Are we suppose to see some of the original characters graduating from Starfleet.[/eq]

I think maybe just Kirk.

[e]And if so is this shown in flashback?

I don't know but doubtful. Abrams and Co. have a thing about jumping around in different time periods and this is what this movie does. But this is also a time travel movie so who knows.

Cause if not than I can't see how anyone of the original characters could be on the Enterprise in the time span of the movie.

Non-linear movie. See my post above.

Spock we know was on the Enterprise with Pike. So with him it's possible. But the other high ranking characters (as per rank on the original series) had other tours of duty before ever ending up on the Enterprise.

Yes. I'm sure this is all played out in the new movie as well. Not to worry.
