According to TrekMovie.com, actor Jeff Quinn, who played the role of Mr. Spock in the fan production series Star Trek New Voyages (now titled Star Trek Phase II) will appear, like Kirk actor James Cawley, in a cameo in J.J. Abrams upcoming Star Trek prequel movie.

According to TrekMovie, like Cawley , Quinn's is a non-speaking part, but he did say that he is "front and center" in a couple of shots. Quinn couldn't give any details on his role, but the partially shaved eyebrows might be a clue.

"it was an honor and a privilege to work on J.J. Abrams' Star Trek." he said.

This upcoming season will include some special guest stars, including Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" who will play CIA agent Daniel Shaw in an episode, and the addition of SUBWAY restaurant as a major advertiser to the show. Chuck averaged a 4.0/6 rating last season, about eight percent better than the recently cancelled "Trauma". Ratings-challenged Heroes moves back an hour when Chuck returns on Monday nights. Well, seeing as Kirk's dead, and this movie does not focus on the crappy fanwank idea of bringing him back to life. There's not much he could have done. I guess they could have hired him to eat any leftovers from catering.
