Forte means loud.

Her name is Marlene LOUD!

I wonder if she has to whisper when she talks, lest our ears blow out.

Gah, and here I was rolling around in my wit. :-)

I was thinking musically, not even the actual language the word hails from.

Although, isn't it also Italian for loud? I may be dumb...

Fortissimo - means "strong" in Italian, IIRC. In musical usage, it gives emphasis (which, so to speak, is loud).

Agreed. And the fact she is pretty hot doesn't hurt either ;)

JJ is definitely reeling in a lot of up and coming acters and actresses for this film. This movie is almost literally a "Next Generation" movie with all the young people in it.

I'm boycotting this movie if John Winston's not in it!

He is the ONLY transporter chief! If Abrams can't see that, this movie is destined to fail!!

I'm boycotting the movie if both Hoyt and Winston are not in it.

Abrams said he would respect the fans and now we have this? Clearly he lied. He's also a coward for leading the fans on by not resolving the transporter chief issue.

Only those who are sucking up to Abrams will be satisfied with his unwillingness to give us a clear answer on whether or not we'll see both Hoyt and Winston at the controls of the transporter. This is Sci-fi. Anything can be done. Spock was brought back from the grave in STII, and both Abrams and Nimoy owe it to the fans to spend this entire movie running around resurrecting the original ST cast. Abrams is responsible for the cloud hanging over this entire debacle.

Stop sucking up to JJ. Join the petition: www.bringbackkirkkellyroddenberrywhitneymontalbancarmeldoohandanielschegwinlenardensignrickyspinerfarrellalloftheredshirtskoenighoytwinston.com
