CBS 2 in Los Angeles has posted a video interview with Leonard Nimoy, which aired this Friday and Nimoy also talked about returning to the role of Spock in the new Star Trek movie. Beware of spoilers.

"I was able to identify with the inner life of that character and I think that's the most important thing that I could bring to it," he said.

"I am Spock, and there is another Spock and there is another Spock. There are a total of three Spocks in the movie and that is all I will say about it." Nimoy revealed

RE: Maybe it's Nimoy Spock, Quinto Spock, and kid Spock? | Report this post to moderator

It's weird; Leonard Nimoy, in the ST:III DVD commentaries, said that he was really concerned with having the younger versions of Spock played out by different actors. His main concern being if the audience would buy it or not. I am amazed Nimoy, after saying that, has complete confidence in this production. Mind you, I think Nimoy was just being very critical of himself at that time because of the fact that he was directing the movie. In the end, I still don't doubt Nimoy's confidence in Abrams and the writing team.
