In a video interview to Trek Movie Report, "The City of The Edge of Forever" writer Harlan Ellison revealed that the Guardian of Forever will not appear in J.J. Abrams upcoming Star Trek movie.(story)

"Some idiot reported [in the internet] that they have taken elements from my "City of The Edge of Forever" Ellison said "The Guardian of Forever, the story of Edith Keeler, all this stuff is mine, because of the Writer's Guild."

"In fact, J.J. Abrams, who is one of my favorite writers, and a brilliant, brilliant writer, does not need to steal from me. So it turned out to be bullshit. Turned out to be crap. [...] a friend of mine has seen the [Star Trek] script and said no, thats bullshit."

This information is preliminary, of course, and entirely rumor.

Nov 23Chuck returns to NBC with a special two-hour show on Sunday, Jan 10, 2010, before returning to its regular time slot, Mondays at 8pm on the following night. It's return to prime time television can be attributed to a successful fan renewnal campaign last year. CHUCK is a one-hour, action-comedy series that follows Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, "Less Than Perfect") -- a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent. This upcoming season will include some special guest stars, including Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" who will play CIA agent Daniel Shaw in an episode, and the addition of SUBWAY restaurant as a major advertiser to the show. Chuck averaged a 4.0/6 rating last season, about eight percent better than the recently cancelled "Trauma". Ratings-challenged Heroes moves back an hour when Chuck returns on Monday nights. So Ellison publicly talks about taking legal action (previously, on TrekWeb...) without even verifying the facts? ...Always An Ass!

"Outer Space: The Last Frontier.
These are the trips of the Star Trek Enterprise. Its five year plan calls for us to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly fly where no man has gone in space. Live long, and be happy."
