I disagree. The sets and CGI models looks fantastic. The Excelsior bridge looks amazing.

You've got high standards. Fanboyish to me is cardboard sets, christmas lights, and models on strings in front of black paper.

The good thing about STNV is that each episode gets better than the last in writing, acting and sfx. I've been eagerly awaiting WEaT since it was finished in March. I think the majority of the contributors now are professionals from various trek series and movies.

These are the trips of the Star Trek Enterprise. Its five year plan calls for us to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly fly where no man has gone in space. Live long, and be happy."
