True. The TNG era shows did tend to overdue the star streaks. After watching the remastered episodes for a while now I am happy with the what they have done. I do notice, at least on the view screen, they have sped up the stars a little bit when at higher warp. Maybe CBS digital was thinking that was a good compomise.
