Star Trek star William Shatner revealed more about his recent meeting with Star Trek XI producer J.J. Abrams at a fan convention in Springfield, Massachusetts on Saturday night (Nov. 11). He was talking about the film Generations when he made this comment.

"I had a talk with J.J. Abrams a while ago and they were writing a new script – and we are all hoping it will be wonderful." Shatner told the audience "And he said, they were going to get the Kirk and Spock characters in there. And I said, "How will you do that, I'm dead." (laughter). I said, "That's a problem." So, they are wrestling with that death, OK."

Thanks to 'Ray Kelly' for the submission.

Nov 23Chuck returns to NBC with a special two-hour show on Sunday, Jan 10, 2010, before returning to its regular time slot, Mondays at 8pm on the following night. It's return to prime time television can be attributed to a successful fan renewnal campaign last year. CHUCK is a one-hour, action-comedy series that follows Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, "Less Than Perfect") -- a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent. This upcoming season will include some special guest stars, including Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" who will play CIA agent Daniel Shaw in an episode, and the addition of SUBWAY restaurant as a major advertiser to the show. Chuck averaged a 4.0/6 rating last season, about eight percent better than the recently cancelled "Trauma". Ratings-challenged Heroes moves back an hour when Chuck returns on Monday nights. STAR TREK VOYAGER's Robert Duncan McNeill serves Chuck as a supervising producer and director.0

Shatner returning as Kirk and them finally fixing Generations would be a blessing for all Trek fans who were sickened by Kirk's death. I've been hoping for this for a long time, and it would be amazing.

DEFINITELY work toward fixing Generations. It was awful. Yes, a chunk of that movie would be dealing with that, but it CAN be done.

So what if he does it for the money. Do you think he would do it for free....do you think any Trek actor would do a movie for free? Come on man.....Star Trek means a lot to us, and maybe to some of the actors. But when it comes down to it, its a paycheck for them.
