The revamp a cast of one? | Report this post to moderator
By: Scorned (Odo's file, contact) @ 13:54:43 on Jul 26, 2005

I was wondering if Moore has an ongoing character in his revamp because when you look at all the extras (commentaries) it is nothing more than Moore. No cast comentaries? So I guess they couldn't get the mircophone away from Moore long enough to get a chance to talk to any cast members? hahaha And you people still don't see the Berman-Moore ego connection yet

    You're raving lunactic. Just thought I'd remind you.

    Bla bla bla, at least Moore knows how to create literate, compelling drama.

      What are you saying, Scorned? That Moore's a ranting, egotistical moron who doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut?

      Well, it takes one to know one, I guess. But at least Moore makes up for it by creating one of the best shows out there. Whereas you have no socially redeeming value whatsoever.

        A typical Bella lame sarcastic comment in the face of a point he can't negate. Your act is really getting old.

        Oh yes another personal hack based on nothing but the bruised ego of a MooreRon fan. Such a small person you are.

            And what schtick is that? No one is forcing you to read my responses/posts.

            Do you really think that saying" Whereas you have no socially redeeming value whatsoever."" in the mist of commenting on DVD box set is justified? Take it easy drama queen.

              Weak, Scorned. This comeback should have been in your first reply to my post, and even then, it's a lame comeback. Now it just looks like you had to think for a long time before you could come up with anything.

              Maybe you'd have better luck with that valley girl thing...

                I wouldn't call it weak. Just an after thought from some angry kid. However I would call it correct regardless. You can try and put your spin on it but you are nothing but a drama queen. So I take it that if I slam Threshold then I am joing the "Hilter club" next? Just pathetic reasoning on your part. I do see why MaxPower has you on block list. Put me on your block list otherwise go f yourself.

                  So you're describing yourself as an "angry kid" now? Good for you, Scorned! That's progress!

                  And you can do whatever you want with your own block list. I'm not going anywhere. :)

                    It is clear you are just some dumb angry kid who is has too much time on his hands so he has to troll on this board after me. Isn't there something on MTV for you to enjoy? It is just amazing how I have been lucky enough to get your full attention while others take slams against your beloved MooreRon and his revamp. Go troll someone else psycho.

Disney owns "Lost".
Universal owns "Battlestar Galactica".

As for the value of the set, the SRP is about $60, but it'll sell for about $45. It's $41.99 on amazon.com, and including the mini-series brings it to about 17 episodes. With 10 commentaries, 50 minutes of deleted scenes and a 45 minute documentary, that's a bargain compared to the Trek sets.

EDIT: this is in response to wolverine's post below... I must've clicked the wrong button.

--------

"Serenity" is the movie "Star Wars" prequels wish they could be.

    "Lost" is looking like a great release:

    * Extended, uncut pilot episode
    * Behind the scenes featurettes
    * "Backstage with Drive Shaft: All-Access Pass Behind the Music"
    * The Art of Matthew Fox featurette
    * 'Before They Were Lost' Casting tapes
    * Bloopers and outtakes
    * Deleted Scenes
    * Multiple audio commentaries
    * 1.78:1 Anamorphic Widescreen
    * 5.1 Surround sound

    Sounds like a freakin' sweet deal. I can't wait for that set. And for Season 2, of course!

    And look, Disney can release a 7-disc set for under $60 bucks. What the hell is Paramount's excuse?

        I am to lazy to find out what you mean with "Disney", either Lost or Battlestar I gathered, but Battlestar is actually more expensive than any Trek Box !!
        The Box is 60 bucks and there are only 13 Episodes compared to 26 on most DS9 and TNG !!!

          Trek box's are 100 retail in the US. The retail for BSG in the US is going to be a bout 42. I say that's quite a better deal.

          The SRP is lower for the BSG sets. And what's great is that this set blows the Best Buy one out of the water (which SRP's and retails for higher than this one, with less features).

            Here in EUrope the Season Boxes cost about 50 Eruos, which is ca. about 60 Dollars (that times 2 because of only half as much episodes) = 120 Dollars compared to 100 USD for Trek!

            QED (Quad erat demonstrandum): They are more expansive !!! ;-)
