Nov 23 | Chuck returns to NBC with a special two-hour show on Sunday, Jan 10, 2010, before returning to its regular time slot, Mondays at 8pm on the following night. It's return to prime time television can be attributed to a successful fan renewnal campaign last year. CHUCK is a one-hour, action-comedy series that follows Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, "Less Than Perfect") -- a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent. This upcoming season will include some special guest stars, including Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" who will play CIA agent Daniel Shaw in an episode, and the addition of SUBWAY restaurant as a major advertiser to the show. Chuck averaged a 4.0/6 rating last season, about eight percent better than the recently cancelled "Trauma". Ratings-challenged Heroes moves back an hour when Chuck returns on Monday nights. STAR TREK VOYAGER's Robert Duncan McNeill serves Chuck as a supervising producer and director.

Nov 17 | Originally hired as co-executive producer to help with the second half of the show's first season, Kevin Murphy has now taken the reins of Caprica, the Battlestar Galactica prequel on Syfy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He now serves as an executive producer along with Ronald D. Moore, David Eick and Jane Espenson and oversees the day-to-day functions of the show.

Nov 12 | Star Trek star Zachary Quinto is loosely attached to star in the romantic dramedy Whirligig, reports Risky Business.Quinto would play the lead role in the independent Canadian film, which is aiming to shoot early next year. The movie centers on a man who, in a misguided attempt to woo an older woman, befriends the woman's adopted son.Chaz Thorne is directing the pic, based on a screenplay by Michael Amo, creator of the Canadian supernatural series "The Listener."

Nov 11 | The CNS Foundation, is hosting an on-line charity auction at www.charitybuzz.com.   One of the items they are auctioning is a signed movie poster of the new Star Trek movie which has all the cast members and writers.  The president of our organization is Carol Abrams, JJ's mother,  and she arranged for the donation from Bad Robot Production Company.  J.J. Abrams is also a major donor to their organization. The funds raised will go to help find a cure to neurological disorders in children.  The auction link is here.

Nov 10 | Candice Bergen, Charles Lisanby, Don Pardo, Gene Roddenberry, Tom and Dick Smothers and Bob Stewart have been selected as the next inductees into the Television Academy's Hall of Fame. They will be honored at a Jan. 20 ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel. "This year's inductees have challenged and shaped popular culture, changed television for the better and entertained us royally while doing so," TV Academy Chairman-CEO John Shaffner said. "I have certainly been the vocal one," Jolene Blalock fesses to the Boston Herald. "I had assumptions, and we all know what happens when we assume."

The outspoken actress has used "appalling" to describe the ENTERPRISE series finale, featuring a NEXT GENERATION "thank you" from the series producers.

"I assumed that the ending would be about our show and not a wrap-up of the conglomerate," Blalock said. "I understand and respect what (the producers and writers) were trying to accomplish... Reading the script for the finale was sad because I wish I would have known. Of course, that's the way it goes, so we go forward. It was just insulting."

Ms. Blalock has long been critical of the liaison between her onscreen character, T'Pol, and Connor Trinneer's honky-tonk Trip Tucker. "It was so monotonous. There were a lot of feelings, but nothing ever happened. We repeated the same story over and over. Either make it a relationship or don't, but you can't walk this line forever. It's boring."

Early in her employment by the STAR TREK franchise, Jolene admitted she's a longtime fan of the original series, and an unabashed "Spock Girl."

"Thinking about STAR TREK not being on the air for the first time in 18 years is strange. I'm very grateful and fortunate that I was able to be part of this incarnation. It's sad to see it go, but I really believe in my heart of hearts that it's not gone forever," motions the head-turning Saturn Award winner.

Blalock expressed fond memories of working on ENTERPRISE, and the sentiment in her final scene. "I loved going to work every day. I loved the routine. I loved the people that I worked with. All the cast members worked on that last day. So as one person would complete their last scene, we would send them out (with applause). Scott Bakula and I were in the very last scene. Before we started shooting that scene, I caught eyes with Scott, and it was just a moment I will never forget. And he walked over and he shook my hand before we started shooting that last scene, and I almost lost it. It just said it all."

Would the 30-year-old San Diego native reprise her Vulcan persona? "It all depends on the material. I wish the best for T'Pol, and I don't wish her to be viewed as everything that they made her -- a drug addict, weak woman, confused, lost."

Jolene Blalock stars in the upcoming indie film SLOW BURN, and she looks forward to exploring new opportunities. "This is my turn, and it's a good time for me because I'm fortunate enough to not need to work. So (I have) the liberty and the ability to be selective and take my time with this one until it's right, until it's a script I can't help but be passionate about. I want to read something where I clap at the end. I want to be excited."

The Toronto Star's Rob Salem, who scooped Blalock's "appalling" quote, also addresses the series' larger ills in "ENTERPRISE limps off to oblivion"...

"I mean, you have to kind of look at it as a long 18-year trajectory, and STAR TREK hit its apex during NEXT GENERATION," said Brannon Braga. "In fact, when NEXT GENERATION was transitioning to DEEP SPACE NINE and VOYAGER, it was taking a chance at that time. There has been an erosion in the fan base, so it did not stop with ENTERPRISE."

"That's Brannon flying out of town," Rick Berman laughed. "The fans are chasing him with scythes."

The final two episodes of ENTERPRISE air Friday, May 13, at 8pm ET on UPN.

If this was the way she would have come accross all the time then I doubt that she would have had so much hate aimed at her. I personally have been a fan of her work on Enterprise; she has always tried her best to take the often times weak material they saddled her character with and make it interesting. More often then not, she managed to do just that. My problem with her was how uterly classless she seemed in most of her interviews starting half way through season three. She came across as a whiny bitchy slut quite often with her foul mouth and trashy interviews with magazines like Maxem.

I know not everybody had a problem with that but I did and that is why I became so disenchanted with the actress. If she had been the way she was in this interview the whole time I bet she wouldn't have ruffled nearly so many feathers. In this interview she managed to get her complaints across in a calm civil manner, not sugar coating them, and without talking about how Spock and T'Pol would have hot wild angry steamy Vulcan sex if they had the chance.

I never understood the animosity towards her. She's only the messenger. Someone told her what to say and what to do. Someone in control liked her with the little boys hair cut in skin tight clothes. She did the best she could with the material she was given. All of the actors were great with what they had to work with. I will miss them and Enterprise.

    I could never understand the animosity towards her either. What do fans want. Someone saying that Enterprise is Great and that it was run by competent people? We all know that that is not true.
    Give her some credit people.

In the beginning, I was really angry at what the writers had done to the Vulcan archetype, I directed some of my anger at Jolene, and I regret that. I think she's a sweetie and a hottie, I'd love to take her to Pink's for chili dogs though :)

I think she'll find herself in a satisfying project, I think she will become very well known in the future. I would suggest she aim for mainstream productions and not genre films and television.

She and the rest of the cast have just wrapped up an important lesson on the realities of working in and around Hollywood- namely that you can't take the audience for granted, and that the captain of the ship, the producer of the piece, is the one who will determine whether everyone will find success or failure. Alas, Star Trek was originally an idea about expanding humanity's horizons on intellect, culture, society, technology and knowledge. It ended up by being a living example of distinctly unimaginative, boring, and misappropriated Star Trek-esque diversions which held no water and had no point.

Kudos to Jolene Blalock for expressing her opinions throughout the last two seasons. I give her a lot of credit. Everything she has said has been accurate in my eyes. The Trip/T'Pol romance was laborious from beginning to end. Her drug addiction was insulting and her character's condescending attitude toward humanity did not make for good tv in the first season. Anyone remember in the first season when T'Pol told Trip that Enterprise's computer was as sophisticated as a Vulcan's children's toy? I said to myself at that point, "Why is she serving aboard then?" The writers had no clue about what a Vulcan was and poor Manny Coto had to pick up after them.

That woman's got balls.

On the whole, I've really liked everything I've heard from her. I respect her and her take on the character, and I wish her well in her future career. I'm sure she'll go far.

    yeah she is a good girl with not only nice perfect body but also a brain with more in than her boss, aka berman and braga, and I hope she get's a good future, and maybe we'll se her more in Stargate:SG-1, or in another shows.

    But if they once make a enterprise-movie then i hope we see her.

    Because I have allways like her character, allways!!!
