TV Guide magazine has a segment in each issue in which they go behind-the-scenes of a show. This week's issue, just out in the US, features an article about the making of the upcoming STAR TREK ENTERPRISE episode "Bound", with photos and a description of the makeup process that turns actor Scott Kolack into a Orion male. "Who wouldn't want to be an alien on STAR TREK ?" makeup designer Michael Westmore told the magazine.

Nov 23Chuck returns to NBC with a special two-hour show on Sunday, Jan 10, 2010, before returning to its regular time slot, Mondays at 8pm on the following night. It's return to prime time television can be attributed to a successful fan renewnal campaign last year. CHUCK is a one-hour, action-comedy series that follows Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, "Less Than Perfect") -- a computer geek who is catapulted into a new career as the government's most vital secret agent. This upcoming season will include some special guest stars, including Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" who will play CIA agent Daniel Shaw in an episode, and the addition of SUBWAY restaurant as a major advertiser to the show. Chuck averaged a 4.0/6 rating last season, about eight percent better than the recently cancelled "Trauma". Ratings-challenged Heroes moves back an hour when Chuck returns on Monday nights. Orion males... fine, there hadda be some somewhere I guess. But I don't care to see them featured in TV Guide. I want to see THE WOMEN! Bring on the Green Orion Slave Women! YESS! Manny Coto, I thank you!

Looking back, Manny Coto's scripts have either rocked ass or sucked ass. Never an in between.

Though I was entertained by Storm Front, it didn't come out as cool as it could've been.

But, then you have to realize what Coto was given to 'fix' in Storm Front. I would give him the benefit of the doubt on that one. Give the guy some slack, he basically re-made Enterprise this season, with B&B having a hands-off approach, so-to-speak. ...That is until the finale, which supposedly is going to suck, but I'll reserve judgment until I actually see it.

So, what do you think about 'Bound'? I think it should be pretty cool with the Orions making another appearance. At least Coto respects TOS more than say B&B.
