STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE's Jolene Blalock graces the pages of February's Playboy Magazine, on sale this Friday. The sexy TREK star offers her frank views on the future of the prequel series and matters both sexual and mundane in excerpts from her 20Q interview, provided by the mag:

"Yeah, this is probably our last season," says Blalock. "I would rather go out now than slowly go down with a sinking ship. Ironically, this year is going to be our best."

On what her ultimate love scene would be like: "It would have to be a psychological thriller with Gary Oldman. The female would be the unwitting victim, much like the kind Michelle Pfeiffer usually plays. Oldman would play the guy you don't want to like but do anyway."

On what Spock and T'Pol would be like in bed: "Vulcans are really freaky nasty. You would never know it. You'd think it would go total missionary. But no, we are freaky nasty, dirty nasty and yeah, funky."

On what she does with used Vulcan ears: "Not until this year did I realize, Hey, these ears are like a pair of shoes. Now I've started to collect them. It's kind of gross what they turn into because they're meant for only one day's use. The foam they're made of doesn't preserve well."

On the women in California: "There could be fewer hos. I mean, we have beautiful girls, but man, they're hos. I don't get it. They go down to Tijuana, and only hos go there."

On who has overdone it with plastic surgery in Hollywood: " Farrah Fawcett overdid it. Why can she only move one side of her face? Whenever she smiles, she turns in complete profile to the side that can smile. I don't understand that. Peter Jackson, the director of Lord of the Rings, needs more. He is such a scruffy guy. He just does not care."

You can read more from Jolene at Playboy's web site.

Try to remember that the magazine selects the sentences they want to serve their image. They've picked the sentences that make her appear to be what they think women are. And to be fair, it does sound like she was living up to their cliche as best she could, as well. Which doesn't mean her answers had anything to do with herself as a person; she was playing the part of "woman being interviewed by Playboy." I mean come on folks, be real. If you're upset about her interview, GAL.

    GAL? Oh, please.

If Jolene had any integrity, she wouldn't have to act like "a woman being interviewed by Playboy". If she needs to change her personality to fit a certain magazine and reach a certain demographic, then she's nothing but a poseur. And, if Playboy is picking and choosing from her interview comments that better suit the magazine's image, then they're misrepresenting her.

Jolene Blalock is a taint to the Star Trek franchise. And, since Berman and Braga are too dense to know how much additional damage she's doing to it, we won't see her step out of the spotlight any time soon. If Enterprise must be cancelled to remove her from Star Trek as a whole, then I pray this will be Enterprise's last year.

...how monumentally stupid she sounds in that interview. If I were her agent, or an executive at Paramount, I'd be embarrassed by her comments. I don't care if this was an interview for Playboy and she felt a need to amp up her comments to be more explicit and "witty". She's turned herself into a laughingstock.

I never thought I'd say this, but I DO hope this is Enterprise's last season, because that would mean we'd no longer have to hear from this shrieking harpie, and she could become little more than an unfortunate footnote in the annals of TREK history.

I know its a silly interview but Jolene has to GO! | Report this post to moderator
By: Scorned (Odo's file, contact) @ 16:31:26 on Jan 13, 2005 | Edit History (1)

All of Jolenes interviews are plain garbage! I can honestly say that I am sick of hearing Jolene open her mouth. She never has anything intelligent to say. I really do wish that they would put a gag on her or otherwise fire her dumb ass!

Quote:""Yeah, this is probably our last season," says Blalock. "I would rather go out now than slowly go down with a sinking ship. Ironically, this year is going to be our best."

I would like to see ENT have a 5th season so people can tell this moron to "shut the hell up"!

Quote:"On what her ultimate love scene would be like: "It would have to be a psychological thriller with Gary Oldman. The female would be the unwitting victim, much like the kind Michelle Pfeiffer usually plays. Oldman would play the guy you don't want to like but do anyway."

Ok dingbat...whatever you say!

Quote:"On what Spock and T'Pol would be like in bed: "Vulcans are really freaky nasty. You would never know it. You'd think it would go total missionary. But no, we are freaky nasty, dirty nasty and yeah, funky."

Oh yes this coming from the "crack whore Vulcan".

Does she even know who "Mr.Spock" is?

Quote:"On what she does with used Vulcan ears: "Not until this year did I realize, Hey, these ears are like a pair of shoes. Now I've started to collect them. It's kind of gross what they turn into because they're meant for only one day's use. The foam they're made of doesn't preserve well."

I think there has been some "ear/brain" penetration because this might explain her stupidity!

Quote:"On the women in California: "There could be fewer hos. I mean, we have beautiful girls, but man, they're hos. I don't get it. They go down to Tijuana, and only hos go there."

And she knows this how?

This coming from a woman with fake tits!? What does Peter Jackson have to do with this? At least Jackson has talent! He has how many Oscars compared to Jolenes ZERO?

It would be nice to see Farrah point out how stupid a girl with a 92 pound frame has with C cup fake breasts!

I'm probably going to get flamed badly for saying this, but hell with it, I don't give a crap...

Dude, you are 100% RIGHT about this.

All this crap she rants reminds me of 1 dude back when Voyager was running who kept running his mouth so badly that the writers cut him out almost completely... does anyone remember the name Robert Beltran?

No. It is not being 'anal retentive' to have some standards and a sense of decency. Sure, she was trying to be funny thing is though she isn't. She is sad and tragic. Even downright pathetic.

I'm sure there are some rather desperate Trek geeks out there who will tolerate anything and defned her to the bitter end just because she's showing them skin in a porn magazine. There is a line to be drawn and at some point folks need to stand up and say, "enough is enough."

Now clearly she's taking her clothes off and being sassy about things because she is insecure and afraid her association with "Star Trek" will make her uncool. Lord knows she doesn't want to be an actress bad enough to actually take some much needed acting lessons.

No, all things considered, it is Blalock who is more than likely 'anal.'

Jolene Blalock is the ultimate symbol of what is so totally and absolutely wrong with "Star Trek" as it is currently produced. She is a real abomination.

I'll say it as simplistic as possible:

    "Jolene Blalock sucks"

In more ways than one. She doesn't deserve to be a Key Grip for any Star Trek series. She also doesn't have the right to call anyone else a "ho".

What is wrong with you people? She is just being a littly dirty. Jeez, it's an interview from playboy, she's joking around not trying to sound a like a freakin rocket scientist or T'pol. Some of you have to stop being so anal retentive and get out more for goodness sake.

I like Jolene. She's got a good sense of humor and she happens to be really pretty, which is a very rare thing. She says what all of us are thinking and there is nothing wrong with that. People just don't like here so they have to attack every insignificant thing that she does. It's a shame really. The fact that she didn't do a centerfold for Playboy shows that she has class.

Rare? I don't know about that. God, this is going to sound super corny, but whatever. What do you mean when you say pretty? Do you mean stereotype beautiful? Because while I don't think I'd count most of the funny girls (actually all my friends of either sex tend to be funny) I know as fitting that stereotype, I do count all of them as being pretty--in a lot of cases I consider them prettier than the stereotype. Just my opinion of course, but abstractions like 'pretty' can mean a lot more than I think people give them credit for.

Lol, okay--this is me getting off my high horse.

I think she does all right as T'Pol given what she has to work with but man she needs to gain some class and quit being so hypocritcal... She talks about California having too many hos, well sorry to break it to ya dear but by acting the way you do you blend right in.

I keep trying to picture Nichelle Nichols giving this interview, or Gates McFadden... it makes my brain ache. What a thoroughly coarse, disgusting interview. I realize it's 2005, not 1966, but that's still no excuse for such a lack of class.

Work with Gary Oldman? Not bloody likely.

Suddenly Jeri Ryan doesn't seem so shallow.

Some of us should stop copy and paste the same comments all over a thread, we got you the first time!

As for being nasty for playboy...What? Is it because the mag shows naked girls that you have to lower your IQ? Believe me, there is nothing wrong with being playful and nasty, but shallow and bitchy? As said before, she is trying to distance herself from Star Trek for her career, but anyway, it shouldn't surprise us, she always promoted her career with her only asset, her "sexyness"(And between us, it rarely looked as fake...), even in Trek, so should she change? She cares more about visibility, magazine covers and red carpet stuff than acting. Her goal is to become a "star", not an actress...

Playboy...that magazine is not gone yet? Does it still shows white, blonde, big fake boobs and pierced belly buttons girls? Humm, guess so, Blalock is in it...

The fact that she is doing an interview for playboy makes her whole comments on there being too many "hos" mute. She is acting like one herself and thus loses my respect for coming down on others for it. Also we don't have to agree with the way she acts, true maybe it is accepted for a woman to act that way in this day and age but that doesn't make it right. There are a lot of things that go on today that are wrong and this is just one of many. Women like her continue to prove that they can be just as sleezy and dirty as men as if that is something worth trying to prove, what a world we live in.
