So what will "The Expanse" do to our crew? | Report this post to moderator

It looks like the dangers of the Expanse probably won't be focused on very much in the coming season, but I think it would be interesting to have at least a few episodes where the crew has to suffer the strange effects of the Expanse that were described in, well, "The Expanse".

I'd like to see an episode where T'Pol may succumb to the same murderous insanity as the footage we saw of the other Vulcan crew. It might be interesting to see how the crew would try to deal with her going off, and seeing her struggle with her emotions that she knows aren't her own, but are coming about from an outside influence. The kind of psychological trauma of losing control of one's on body and actions would be something, I think, would be particularly devastating for a Vulcan.

What are some other strange dangers the Expanse should pose? One idea I had was to have different parts of the Expanse trigger different emotional reactions in the crew. Imagine if the ship were being chased by the Xindi through a region where, in one pocket the radiation would trigger a debilitating fear, and then the ship would move into another, which would bring about a sense of total euphoria, and things in between.

Who else wants to chime in?

"Serenity" is the movie "Star Wars" prequels wish they could be.
