10 Reasons why Enterprise MUST last 10 seasons (or at least 7) | Report this post to moderator

1) since Enterprise was launched in 2151 and it's established that the Federation was formed in 2161. It seems fitting to show that after a sucessfull 10-year mission, the Federation was formed. It is alright that Enterprise could only last 7 seasons because, it does take time for a federation to form and the Federation does not have to form directly after Enterprise, but a 3-year mission would do nothing to help the Trek universe. I am willing to wait and see how it all goes together. Enterprise is like a book you read where nothing really makes sense in the beginning, but comes together in the end. But it takes time and THREE SEASONS are not enough!

2) We must know what happened to Archer's father. Season 3 is far too early to reveal it. It must happen in the later seasons. At least season 6.

3) in Enterprise's 6th season, Star Trek will turn 40. That means that it must have an episode that celebrates the event similar to TNG's "Unification" for the 25th anniversary, and DS9's "Trails and Tribble-ations" and VOY's "Flashback" for the 30th anniversary. In the Enterprise, in must have a story that revolves on the Chefe. The reason is that the only person who should play Chefe is Shatner. It would be so great to see Shanter on Enterprise. Someone once suggested that the Chefe could be Kirk's great grandfater but it would be find if Chefe wasn't a decendant of Kirk, just as long we see Shanter play Chefe. From the beginning of the series, I noticed they all talked about how Chefe is the greatest cook in Starfleet and stuff like that, but we never see him. I wondered if they were going to do a Wilson (Neighbor in Home Improvement). The episode "Catwalk" proved that when we saw Chefe's legs, but we never saw his face. Shatner MUST be the chefe, and season 6 is the perfect time to do it.

4) Two words: Romulan Wars. Who knows, the TCW could be the Romulan Wars or the Romulan Wars is to the TCW as Vietnam was to the Cold War. Either way is find with me. The reason why I think the TCW is the Romulan Wars is because although we call World War I, "World War I" now, while it was happening, it was called "The Great War" or "The War to End All Wars". Names of wars do change over time. We use to call the Gulf War, "The Gulf War", but it seems it's now "Gulf War I" and will be called that for now on.

5) "A Matter of Time" follow-up. In TNG, you had this episode where a man from the 22nd Century named Rasmussen stole a time ship that was from a 26th Century researcher and traveled to the 24th Century. In the end the time ship went back to 22nd Century New Jersey w/out Rasmussen. Now, mentioned (while he claimed to be from the 26th Century) that he visited a ship in the 22nd Century. He must have been talking about the Enterprise and could be the very reason why, out of all the ships in 24th Century Starfleet, he chose the Enterprise-D. Well anyways, in the end the time ship went back to the 22nd Century (as I said before), but since (I think) Rasmussen killed the 26th Century researcher, there's no way for the time ship to go back to the future. That could be a go episode to go back to. The only problem would be a lot of Enterprise bashers would complain that it would be a rip-off of "Future Tense". And all I have to say to those bashers is: "Shut up!"

6)Explaining the to two unknown aliens in "Fight or Flight" and "Silent Enemy". My money is on the Xindi.

7) The ID of Future Guy. I hope he's a Romulan, and it would support that Romulan Wars do have a connection to TCW. season 3 is much too early to know.

8) Seeing more NX-class ships. If my memory serves me correctly, they mentioned that the NX-02 won't be ready for another 18 months. That would put it in season 4. Plus, it would take more seasons to see a bunch of NX ships.

9) Phlox's son. We must see an episode that is about Phlox's son. We know that there's a rift between them, and there must be an episode where it is resolved. Season 3 is to early and it would be best to wait until atleast season 6.

10) The Quantum Leap episode. Yes, we did have Dean Stockwell on the show, but we still haven't heard Archer say, "Oh Boy!" We must have one episode that has the, "Oh boy" line, Dean Stockwell, and a transporter affect that looks and sounds like the leap. And maybe a hint of the QL theme song. We must have an episode that makes homage to QL. Who cares if you didn't like the show, it is a classic!

I do have more ideas, but ten is enough for now.
