why nemesis was so bad. | Report this post to moderator
By: Barnabas (Odo's file, contact) @ 09:29:19 on Aug 03, 2003

I think the reasons that nemesis did so poorly at the box office is because...
1. The script wqas underdeveloped and there was minimal character interaction and deevelopment between picard and shinzon.
2.The release date was a bad choice because it was surrounded by big and highly anticipated movies which berman and bragga knew there was going to be a big turn out for and they should have released it during the spring or late summer.
3.There should have been equal time between battle and the interaction between picard and shinzon and should have put more attention on the Data/B-4 plot line.
4.Some of the deleted scenes should have been included, if not to improve the quality of the film then to make it longer.
5.Berman,bragga, and an outsider named John Logan wrote and produced it.
