USS Kelvin uniforms influenced by TNG, and the Enterprise connection | Report this post to moderator

Is it just me, or do the Kelvin uniforms in the new movie look like the future timeline Starfleet versions from TNG's All Good Things?

I like them, but it might've been better to have them look like they evolved from Enterprise's flight suits. In fact, I wished they'd had yellow and red jerseys/T-shirts under the suits in that show; so that you could imagine Starfleet getting rid of the old style flight uniform, and just going with the primary coloured shirts of TOS. Maybe the film could've amended that.

"I would be happy for Star Trek to come along decades later with a new group of minds. I'd love someone to say, 'Besides this one, Gene Roddenberry's was nothing!'" - Gene Roddenberry

"...I think it would be wonderful years from now to see Star Trek come back with an equally talented new cast playing Spock and Kirk and Bones and Scotty and all the rest, as they say tomorrow's things to tomorrow's generations..." - Gene Roddenberry
