What if TNG ended in its future? | Report this post to moderator
By: luckybucky (Odo's file, contact) @ 20:34:04 on Jul 27, 2003

Just finished "All Good Things" at the end of the TNG DVDs (not bad: seven years in seven months... whew, on to DS9!)

It hit me that when the three Enterprises sealed the anti-time ruptured, each was destroyed in sequence: first the Season 1 Enterprise blew up, next our Season 7 ship, and lastly the modified future model 25 years later.

Which means that "our" characters all died.

Might have been interesting to leave the whole cast "dead" in our present, but "alive" in their future. Kind of a mini-reset into the Federation's future 25 years later.
