This is the last year of Star Trek
By Deslok

This move tells me that Viacom has less faith in this show than it did last year. Berman and Co. have burned their last bridge, this move is a signal to the employees of the TREK franchise that they can go home early this year.

Let me put it this way...

Earlier start = less viewers at the start of the season,
this will justify the impending cancellation of the series. Sorry Bakula and cast, it wasn't really your fault. Imagine what ENTERPRISE could have been, it would have been GREAT!

It's a no-win scenario.

Another sign that the show is in hot water was that campaign to put an ad in the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER telling the cast and crew that the fans really do love ENTERPRISE.

It's over, this is looking more and more like it's ENT's last year. I don't know what may come next, but even an extra long hiatus would be better than Star Trek treated like a substandard concept because of substandard direction.

The Xindi arc is the last chance for ENT to prove itself. Who knows, they might just do it, but there will have to be some major changes in the way the show is presented and stylized.

Getting rid of the theme song to ENT would be a great place to start.
