Post production for a flipping year, and skipping a christmas season with absolutely no competition for a crowded May on a weekend that's never produced a hit movie.

You guys seem to forget that 'Star Trek' was pushed back along with a few other films so that Paramount could spread their completed features out over the gap caused by the Writer's Guild strike.

November/December are SAFE release months, thats why (a) the last four Trek films debuted in that time and (b) the studio moving the film to early-summer speaks VOLUMES about how good they feel this film will be. Rather than screaming bloody murder when something you dont understand is posted on here as news? Take a breath, don't overreact. Sheesh!
