Either shit or get off the pot.

Quote:"Regarding the rumors of an appearance of William Shatner as Kirk in the movie, he said "There are still ongoing talks. We're pretty much exactly where we were with Comic Con ... Look, the reality is Trek was up and running and in existence and iconic before we came so we've been basically invited to the party that these guys have been throwing for the last 40 years, so obviously it would be HUGE if Mr. Shatner wanted to be any part of the franchise. It's a challenge for us, though, because they killed Kirk off ...

How many times are we going to keep hearing this crap? You got Roberto saying "no because they killed him" and now you got Damon Braga saying they are still talking. Shatner has made no mention of any types of "talks" so Damon is clearing lying. It is very clear that Shatner WAS the back up plan if Nimoy didn't want to do the movie. So it is time to put this thing to rest. Why these people can't say "yes or no" to Shatner in the movie is beyond me! It is not that difficult of a thing to answer. This team working on the movie needs to start reading each other memos before giving out interviews.

Quote:"But hey, it's Trek, anything's possible, right?"

Funny how you got Roberto saying that they can't bring Shatner back because of some silly continuity excuse. BUT they seem to forget that they killed off Spock in STII and brought him back in the next movie. It is Sci-Fi anything is possible.
