Nemesis script wasn't the problem...

Overall, it was that f$$king script that did NEM in. John Logan can do better.

It wasn't the script.. all the great scenes that dealt with the personal lives of the cast and them moving on, were cut from the theatrical release.

Jerry Goldsmith's score was uninspiring. In every subsequent film he did, from TMP to Nemesis used synthasizers more and more each time - to the point where the score for Nemesis has no distinct melody.

The TRUE ending that was cut, and was originally supposed to start where the final film ended? (where Picard leaves B4, walking down the corridor smiling) would have been a MUCH more satisfying ending for the TNG crew, then the one we were left with.

The script wasn't the problem.. that they assumed another film might follow Nemesis, therefore they left it open ended? THAT was the problem.
