Oi...

Okay, let me say this, I think the sets look fabulous, there's no doubt in my mind that a lot of effort went into creating them... but... given the way this prequel looks, visually (and the acknowledged break with consistancy in so far as how the interior of the ship looks so much more advanced than the interior of the TOS Enterprise), wouldn't it have made more sense to use the bridge designs from Star Trek's II/III?

I'm no expert at Trek history, but as far as I know there wasn't much explanation given for why the bridge changed so drastically between TOS, TMP, and Star Trek II. (I think TMP was after a refit, so there was some explanation there, but Star Trek II didn't seem to justify the changes made there).

I guess what I'm saying is, just as Klingon ridges are generally accepted as just being makeup improvements, surely the appearance of the ships internally can also be accepted as better production and increased budgets.

Regardless, I think these will be some fun episodes, they certainly sound interesting.
