What about the differences between the movies and 24th century?
By diggdoug

It seems to me to be a pretty big difference between the movie bumps and 24th century Klingon foreheads, too. They were really just small ridges in the movies, vs. the monstrosities in the TNG, DS9, etc.

I wonder if that will be brought in? Or will all bumps be considered bumps, and left at that? I would guess probably the latter - unless something were developed as a gradual cure, that started to take effect before the movie timeframe, but didn't completely restore the bumpy foreheads until after the movie timeframe.
