Disappointed
By Classic Trek Gal

I'm glad Rick had a view of the stage. Thanks for letting us know what was going on up there. It was impossible from our "reserved seat" to see anything on the stage or even the screens with everyone standing during the rather brief "Grand Finale." It was blocked out on the con schedule for two hours and lasted about 15 minutes. There were a lot of angry fans at the conclusion of the convention. We got a partial refund from Planet expo. They rebated us the difference in cost between the reserved seat and general admission after I threatened to call my credit card company and report them to the BBB. This convention was poorly organized and didn't deliver as promised. I DID NOT EXPECT JIMMY TO SPEAK. But, I think those of us who had other obligations and couldn't attend the Star Party or the Banquet were promised something they didn't get, an opportunity to see ALL of the remaining cast onstage at the same time. Why was Nichelle the only cast member to speak in the finale. It would have been very nice to hear the rest of the cast make some brief comments, even if they had spoken at the roast the night before or earlier in convention. Why couldn't Leonard stick around or Bill pause signing autographs for the one thing that Planet Xpo promised, seeing the whole cast together for one last time. I'm glad I have memories of meeting Jimmy when he was more hale and hearty on more than one occasion to offset being cheated of seeing him one last time.
