Voyager ended Trek for me
By DirectorSloan

I don't mean to be the lone critic or a Trek snob here, but I have to admit that while Voyager had its moments, they were few and far between. The writers repeatedly introduced interesting potential story lines, never to finish them. Voyager was set in an unseen part of the Trek universe which should have allowed the writers tons of creative room to work with. I understand that at some point the Borg would have been a factor, however, I can't think of a Trek franchise that used/overused the Borg more than Voyager when they needed ratings for sweeps months. I had every TNG and DS9 episode on tape when their originally aired. By the end of the third season and into the fourth season, I just deemed Voyager not tape worthy. I was just tired or poorly written episodes and from that point on, continuity with the Trek franchise time line was out the window. To those who consider Voyager to be worth the money, go forth and boost Paramount stock. Personally, I just can't see getting any of these (and I own all of the TNG and DS9 DVD season sets). If Paramount jettisons Berman and Bragga and lets new people take over for a fourth season of Enterprise, that very well could save the franchise and make up for B&B's Voyager abomination.
