The chain has been on the block for months. NAI will keep control of both Viacom and CBS, and said it won't sell any more shares. "As a result of our actions, National Amusements will be out of debt with its existing creditors and will still control its most important assets," said Redstone, who is chairman of both Viacom and CBS, in a statement. The latest move calls for NAI to sell all of its 16.3 million shares of Viacom Class B stock -- about 3% of the total Class B shares outstanding. It will sell additional shares of Class A stock, but only after they are converted to Class B stock on a one-for-one basis. During its peak, the club had over 200 members from the North West alone and always saw a great turn out at their monthly meetings held in Manchester City Centre. However sadly, just like the world of Trek, the club faded away just after the turn of the century. Now, a small group of devoted fans have decided the time is right and after nearly 10 years, Manchester Starfleet is once again boldly going. Ever since May 2009 when the Star Trek movie came to the big screens, this group of 8 fans have met regularly every 3rd Saturday at the Hilton in Manchester.
