Paramount Vice President Says Into Darkness Prequel Game Star Trek The Video Game is Absolutely Official Canon

In an interview now available on YouTube, Jane Douglas the co-editor at Outside Xbox interviewed Paramount Pictures’ senior vice president Brian Miller at the launch for Star Trek The Video Game.

In the interview Brian Miller confirms that the story of the upcoming Star Trek tie-in game is absolutely 100% canon.

Is this the same guy who said TAS is canon, meaning that the Enterprise carries a balloon full scale replica of itself ? Video games and comics and novels are not canon for a reason. The Paramount VP CAN GO TO HELL! ....I think Im addicted to paraphrasing Londo Mollari.

Yeah, but that's a personal thing.

As much as I would love the Shatner books to count, I know they don't, despite technically nothing post-Generations contradicting them.

...but the comments about the Gorn have been near-universally negative, which doesn't bode well for the game's reception.
