Michael Dorn Says There is No Captain Worf TV Pilot in the Works

By GustavoLeao / 22:54, 6 March 2013 / Star Trek: Nemesis

HuffPost TV posted a new interview with TNG and DS9 star Michael Dorn and here is an excerpt.

I've read some things about a Worf/"Star Trek: TNG" spinoff. Is that true?
No, that's not true. There was a blogger last year who asked me that question, and I said that there's a place for "Star Trek" on TV again, and I had started to write a script. It would feature Worf in the Klingon universe. A lot of people read that and it's taken on a life of its own. You never know in this business, though, I gotta say.

The full interview is here.

Wasn't there a kickstarter? | Report this post to moderator

I thought there was a kickstarter for such a show by Michael Dorn and someone else. I might be mistaken but I thought I got a link to it from here at Trekweb. I will have to look into that.

Worf should host a late night talk show. I can hear his opening monolog now: "Leno has no honor, he even refused my challenge to a death match."

No Worf Show? | Report this post to moderator

Yep. No surprise here. BUT: I am happy, it wouldn't have worked.

A Klingon show COULD work, though. Why not? Done on the cheap, with a show that focused on character and Klingon culture would have been great!

The word "duh" comes to mind. ;-)
