I never knew why so many Trek fans did not like this Enterprise. I mean, it's the freakin Enterprise! It's not like it's such a departure from the basic design.

I'm cool with it.

And the best news? The scale! :D

The model is 23.15" long, which at 1:500 scale implies that the "real" ship is 294 meters in length. This defies what the Blu-ray said, and puts it directly in between the original and refit Enterprises. Sure as hell beats the notion that the ship is supposed to be longer than the Enterprise-D!
