This has a silver lining..he's so busy that it takes way too long in-between Star Trek movies. Perhaps we won't wait so long next time.

JJ will go work with Disney and Lucas to do Star Wars while all the Bad Robot people will start the next Star Trek. I doubt another Star Trek will be ready before 2017 anyway.
