Comics Continuum posted a 8-page preview of issue 3 of IDW comic book mini-series Star Trek The Next Generation Hive, co-written by Brannon Braga.

Here is how IDW describes the issue :

The Borg story to end all Borg stories warps towards it thrilling conclusion! In the far-flung future the Borg Queen faces off against the Borg King... an ancient Locutus! The stakes have never been so high, as the fate of the Enterprise - and the entire galaxy - hang in the balance!

the first issue seemed like a major ripoff of the Voyager species 8472 story....but then issue 2 took it in a new direction.

Maybe it's because I've been starving for TNG for too many years now, but I'm enjoying the series.

Braga is creatively so thorougly exhausted that I am glad that it's very unlikely they'll let him anywhere close to any Star Trek movie or tv production again.

No matter how good the idea was, he would find a way to screw it up with tired uninspired plot elements recycled for the 100th time.
