By GustavoLeao / 05:48, 13 December 2012 / Star Trek: Nemesis

Chris Pine, who plays Capt, Kirk, and Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock, in "Star Trek Into Darkness", recently spoke with MTV about the trials and loves the Enterprise crew faces in the new film.

When asked if someone, particularly an Enterprise crew member, would die in "Star Trek Into Darkness", Quinto replied, "There is reason to worry", and further stated, "the enemy is entirely different from enemies of the past", for there was an "insidiousness, a ruthlessness and a fierce intelligence" within the enemy.  Quinto added, "The stakes are much higher, much more urgent", so concerning if someone dies, "who knows?"

When Pine was asked if Kirk had a love interest in the film, he replied, "So much happens ... the action and the plot, the current of it is so fast ... there is really not much time for Kirk to do anything other than save the crew and to try to save his own ass ... but, clearly Kirk loves a blonde, and Alice (Alice Eve, who plays Carol Marcus) is a beautiful woman ... the flirting and the connection is there".

Pine went on to describe Alice Eve's character's scientific prowess, and said, "Her scientific knowledge and her education ... play a big part in helping solve the crisis."
