According to TrekNews.net, in addition to the spoilers which revealed that actress Alice Eve is playing Carol Marcus, the guys at ComingSoon.net has revealed another Star Trek Into Darkness spoiler tonight.

(Beware of Spoilers)

According to ComingSoon.net’s Silas Lesnick, the Klingons appear in the new movie wearing helmets (like in the Rura Penthe scenes cut fromthe 2009 movie) and do have ridged foreheads, but also appear with ornamental piercings and facial hair. Lesnick also revealed in a tweet that the Klingon Homeworld appears in Into Darkness.

Live tweeting from the event, Lesnick added that while 14 Klingons appear in the film, only two remove their helmets and have speaking roles.

Even though it was in the deleted scenes, the Klingons captured the Narada and Nero for 25 years or whatever. Well since it's from the future, wouldn't it make sense a Romulan computer database have the history on the Klingon race and the cure they eventually found for the Augment disease?

So did they find a cure to the Augment disease early in this new timeline?
