Here's a question: What does Star Trek do after this trilogy is over? I do not think that the actors will continue to return for a fourth or more, since their careers are taking off and the contract ends at three. Do they do just a new TV show? Recast Kirk and company again for a new movie? Recast a new TNG movie? Or do entirely new characters in the new JJ-verse?

I would want a TV show and nothing more, but I'm sure Paramount would want to continue the movie series since it's now profitable. That said, I'm not sure if a recast TNG crew is viable and it would almost be too silly to recast the TOS crew again, unless they wait at least 8 years or something.
