NEWS ALERT : Special Footage Presentation of Star Trek Into Darkness In Japan on December 4th

Continuing TrekWeb.com's previous report, the Japanese-based web site, Rengo-tsushin.com is reporting that the "director, cast and producer" will "attend 'Star Trek Into Darkness' presentation in Japan".

Rengo-tsushin.com states, with translation provided by Benedictcumberbatchfanjp.org,�"'Star Trek Into Darkness' will be in cinemas on September 2013 Japan,�reveal a special footage presentation on 4th December from 9:50 at 109Cinemas Kiba, cinema2(IMAX). �Paramount Pictures Japan announced.� Director J. J. Abrams, Chris Pine, Benedict Cumberbatch and Producer Bryan Burk will come to Tokyo to attend."

While there is no official confirmation of the Japan presentation, Cumberbatchcoffeeklatch.com, says that during a taping of BBC's "Cabin Pressure", Cumberbatch had to do his bit first "so he could rush and get to the airport and fly to Tokyo".

It is possible that Paramount is screening the upcoming 9-minute IMAX preview which is premiering in 12 days on US cinemas before IMAX showings of "The Hobbit."� If this early junket trip is true, such is similar to the overseas press roll-out for the first Trek reboot movie in 2009.
