Exclusive : New Images for Next Generation Remastered Season 2 on Blu-Ray Coming December 2012

CBS and Paramount just sent to TrekWeb this esclusive before and after images from the Star Trek The Next Generation Season 2 Blu-Ray set, available on December 4th.

Images are from the episodes ""The Outrageous Okona" featuring a cameo of Teri Hatcher as the transpoter chief, plus 2 images from "The Child", featuring Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi and Whoppi Goldberg as Guinan, and finally a image from Q-Who featuring Goldberg and Patrick Stewart as Captain Picard.

I don't know why some people are griping. It's not you were going to get a whole new series.

But the clarity, the improvement in resolution IS worth it, from where I stand. So glad this is being done, for such an important series.

I really don't see enough of a difference to justify buying the whole series over again. Of course I didn't buy it in the first place- I just watch it on syndication. But I haven't seen anything that was just jaw dropping yet. So a few colors are different and it's a little sharper. That's great but... so what?
