The Huffington Post has
a new interview with Benedict Cumberbatch where the discusses Star
Trek Into Darkness and director J. J. Abrams.
When asked if he could "reveal anything" about the new film,
Cumberbatch, while not spilling any secrets, was rather verbose, saying,
"It was an amazing experience ... I was bound to say that, but it
genuinely was. It was extraordinary".
Speaking about J. J. Abrams, Cumberbatch said, "He's a wonderful
human being to be around, J. J. [Abrams] -- on every level, as a dad,
as a friend, as a director, as a musician ... He's a polymath, he's a
really talented human being. And he has time for everyone and it's all
done with a really genuine interest in the story."
With Abrams still in mind, Cumberbatch finished by saying, "So for
all the bangs for your buck that you're gonna get with the film ---
which there are going to be plenty --- you have an investment, you are
about what's happening to these characters, so it was really exciting."
