TrekWeb receive the following message from artist and Star Trek fan D.L. Polonsky. Thank you, D.L. !

My name is D.L. Polonsky.  I'm an artist, writer and filmmaker from Allston, Massachusetts.  I'm 51.  Both my parents and my younger brother are artists, so I've been immersed in the arts for as long as I can remember.  I've had a children's book published by TBW Books in 1992 that I wrote/illustrated titled "The Letter Bandits" that's still being sold, and I've had 9 political portraits in The Boston Globe from 1986-2000, 80 in The Boston Herald from 2004-2010 and other political portraits in several other major newspapers.  I also make independent films with the help and resources of public access stations.

I've always been interested in fantasy, sci-fi and surrealism and incorporate a lot of it in my artwork, writing and films.  I've always liked the original Star Trek TV series, especially the episodes that show worlds with dystopian variations on human civilization.  My favorite episode is "Miri".

You can check out over 190 pieces of my artwork at www.flickr.com/photos/d_l_polonsky and you can contact me at d.l.polonsky@hotmail.com

I've seen this before, somehow it just doesn't seem to look quite like Leonard Nimoy. The chin just doesn't seem proper.
