J.J. Abrams and Karl Urban Talks Briefly About Star Trek Into Darkness

Features

By GustavoLeao / 09:07, 18 September 2012 / Star Trek: Nemesis

Newsday just posted an article about director/producer J. J. Abrams and his college years at Sarah Lawrence College in Westchester County, New York. He is being interviewed about his new series  "Revolution", but delves into his other projects. He also discusses his early collegiate writings and love of music.

He briefly mentions the new Trek movie by stating "it's too early to talk specifics ...., but I would say that I would hope that fans and non-fans of 'Star Trek' are in for. Big, emotional ride".

The full article is here

This morning on VH1's, "Big Morning Buzz Live" show, actor Karl Urban briefly discussed the new Star Trek movie title, while being interviewed about "Judge Dredd".  He basically explains that the title does not include a colon.  Not much info, but this is the first cast member to state. on video, that the title is indeed Star Trek Into Darkness.

Karl's interview can be found at www.VH1.com, under the Big Morning Buzz Live link.  Urban's interview is in Episode 50, dated 9/17/12.

Special thanks to John Morton

I am sure he will put his all into Star Trek. It is one of his biggest franchises and I am sure he will put more effort into it than into a tv series that he may have little influence in.

Is it me, or does this "Star Trek into Darkness" title abbreviation look like STD?

Anyway, the show Revolution was lame. I think that JJ may be losing his touch with TV, I just hope its not the same with his movies...
