Michael Dorn on Worf and Plans to Direct a Romantic Comedy with Fellow Star Trek Actors

By GustavoLeao / 08:07, 11 July 2012 / General Star Trek

Pasadenastarnews.com posted a new interview with TNG and DS9 actor/director Michael Dorn and here are a few excerpts.

"Worf is the ultimate guy," says Dorn, who is writing a Captain Worf DVD movie and plans to pitch it to CBS. "He's a little awkward, but he's loyal and doesn't crave the spotlight. He's strong and athletic and likes to fight."

Dorn has also been writing other scripts and has finished a romantic comedy for which he is currently seeking funding. He already has some fellow "Star Trek" actors on tap to be in the film, which he plans to star in and direct.

"I want to be able to just do things that I love," Dorn said. "After 11 years on a TV show and six movies, I just want to do the things that I'm excited about."

The full interview is here.

The movie STAR TREK HOW J.J. STOLE CHRITMAS was never released because there was so much secrecy that they lost all the copies of the film. It starred Dorn and Sirtis crying for 2 hours.

Is Dorn talking about Star Trek? He was only in five movies.
