KTMS News Channel posted a new video interview with Star Trek Deep Space Nine actress Chase Masterson and here is a transcript of the video.

One of the guests at El Paso Comic Con is an El Paso native who had a role in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Chase Masterson says she's excited her hometown finally has a comic convention and thrilled to be part of it.

"It's really nice to come back and see the people that brought me up, my mentors, my mom, who's an actress and director, my old teacher, miss Wynn, and a lot of people that I have respected throughout the years that made a big impact on my life and my career, so it's really nice to come back and say thank you," says Masterson.

Masterson says she has two projects in the works; "RUR" which was written as a science fiction play in the Czech language and she's also producing a movie called "The Camel Book Mobile" which will raise money for literacy and clean water in Africa.
