Star Trek Nemesis Villain Ron Perlman Joins Cast of New Conan Movie

Vulture posted that Hellboy star Ron Perlman, who also played the villain Reman Viceroy in the TNG movie Star Trek Nemesis (photo), has been cast in the role of Corin, the father of Conan The Barbarian, in the new Conan movie.

Perlman joins a cast that includes Jason Momoa, Rachel Nichols (who played Orion cadet Gaila in J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie), Stephen Lang, Bob Sapp and Leo Howard.

Marcus Nispel will direct starting this month.

Ron Perlman would've made a good Conan when he was younger, and if he was wearing full body make-up like he did in Hellboy.

That's the way I wish they'd gone - having the actor in make-up, made to look exactly like Frank Frazzeta's image of Conan. Jason Momoa is a good actor though.
